Durga Foundation is a Non-governmental & Non-profitable organization, established on 21st Feb 2010 in Belwa, Semara Hardo, Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh to volunteer Career Counseling and enhancing qualitative education in rural areas. Due to lack of proper guidance at the right time and pecuniary challenges to underprivileged students both are jeopardizing our village talent and they couldn’t perform well just because of these obstacles. Therefore, Durga foundation is committed to endue financial support to underprivileged & intellectual students to accomplish their ultimate objective without perturbation.
At the Initial of our iteration, we visited schools and conducted career counseling program, donated books for studies, computer devices to connect students with the drastically transforming virtual global world. Along with this, we were helping women to be self-reliant by giving them stitching machine.
In 2016, we decided to make a community center for youth development and skills development to provide better life expectancy. We have planned for a library and computer lab, basketball court, Volleyball court, Badminton Court and open Gym at the Community Centre. The foundation of the community building took two years to be in a shape.
Our reverie becomes reality when community center construction has culminated and we dedicated this community center to our beloved The Missile man of India, Former President of India, Dr. A PJ Abdul Kalam and we designated it as Dr. Kalam Community & Skills Development Center in 2018.
We conducted Free English Spoken Classes and E-literacy for the students at Community Center and we shifted our classes at Virtual Platform during COVID 19 Outbreak.
