Durga Foundation continuously makes efforts for youth development and made several significant interventions for transforming society through Education. Along with Spoken English, One of the critical interventions in this direction has been the E-Literacy Program. We deemed the e-literacy program as the foundation for the development of individuals and the nation. This course is designed to apply knowledge to real-life challenges for the self-development of rural youth, especially girls.

The curriculum adopted is innovative, with a correct balance between theory and practice, making it interesting for all. Students and youth who undergo the E-Literacy training Program become tech-savvy and can easily send and receive emails, search the Internet for information and become aware of the larger world around them.

Course Objectives: The E-Literacy Program will begin by mobilizing and orienting key stakeholders and the more extensive & board community survey. The students who show interest in enrolling on the program undergo counselling. The parents will also be counselled and informed about the program’s benefits.
To transform society by using ICT. The ability of individuals to use digital tools and facilities to perform tasks, solve problems, communicate, manage information, collaborate, create and share content and build knowledge in all areas of everyday life and work.

The E-Literacy program aims to provide primary computer, Internet, email, and mobile literacy.

This program will allow the development of an individual by providing appropriate ICT-related knowledge and skills and training to develop a competent attitude and expertise to use and adapt to the rapidly changing new forms of ICT devices and associated software.

The students who complete the digital literacy training course will be assessed via test and interview.

Course Outcomes:
They are each provided with a certificate at the end of the course.
After completing the digital literacy classes, the student should understand the role of digital technology in our everyday lives and use it effectively.
This program will enhance the ability of youth to take online courses and qualify for higher Education.
